This is day 4 and 5 of the week long journey from Prague in Czech Rep to Rome in Italy. If you haven't seen part 1 yet, go do it now. I'll wait here until you get back. (Click on the image).
Are you back? Good! Let's continue.
Today, May 20th, is Cynthia and Kyle's wedding day back home in Singapore. These photos were taken in November last year to celebrate them as a couple. We drove from Poland to Austria and spent the night in Salzburg before we went straight for the Alps. I must say that the rest stop called "Elisabethsee" must be one of the most beautiful rest stops in the world. We just had to stop for a little shoot. I actually drove past it first and then I was like: "OK guys, we are definitely going back there". We had to drive through a loooong tunnel going upwards before we found a place to turn around and go back and it was SO worth it. Later that afternoon we arrived at a cabin at Hopfgarten in Defereggen.
The day after started with preparations in the cabin before we drove towards Grossglockner, Austria's tallest mountain. By the way, the old man pictured below is the man who owns the cabin we stayed in. He also owns a mountain. Yes, you heard right! He owns an entire mountain just across the road from the cabin and 7km in!
I freaking love photographic adventures like this and this year I'm doing three elopements and pre weddings in this style around Norway in Hordaland, Sogn og Fjordane and Lofoten. I feel so lucky that all these awesome people wants to bring me with them. If this is something that sounds interesting to you, please contact me so that we can discuss when and where to go :D
